In the 15th century, in Trzęsacz, 2 kilometers from the cliff sea-shore, a church was built, only a little piece of which – the southern wall – has remained until today.
In 1891, due to jetting of the cliff, first foundation stones appeared, and in 1990 the sea took the first piece of the counterfort away.
At night, 8 to 9 March 1901, the northern wall collapsed.
Throughout the decades to follow, the sea destroyed more and more of the church. In the middle of the 19th century the church was closed up for the safety reasons.
The legend says it was a revenge of the god of the Baltic Sea for this that when his daughter Zielenica was caught by the fishermen, the local parson, in order to convert her, kept her in captivity so long that she died.
Now, the sea is breaking in to collect her ashes deposited in the graveyard by the church.
