Niechorze - Pobierowo

« Back

Niechorze is an old fishing village, lying on a pass between Lake Liwia Łuża and the sea. Nowadays, it is a popular seaside resort.
Built in 1866, a 45-meter lighthouse dominates the village.
In the summer, it is accessible to visitors, who can observe the coast and the nearby land from its top.
Especially attractive are trips on a narrow-gauge railway (built in 1896), called "Ciuchcia Retro", from 1 May to 30 September each year.
From 1 June till 31 August, on Fridays and Saturdays, an antique  railway set, with a steam engine, makes its journeys.
The train route: Gryfice - Trzęsacz - Rewal - Śliwin - Niechorze - Pogorzelica (first departure at 8:40), and back.
Tickets are sold by the conductor.
